Welcome to the North Georgia Barbell (NGBB) Website!!

North Georgia Barbell has been active in the lifting community since Spring of 2002. We have had much success on the lifting platform ranging from top Elite performers like the legendary Steve Goggins (1st man in history to squat 1100 in cometition) to champions at the local State Meet. We've had lifters compete in most major lifting federations including the APF, IPA, USAPL, USPF, SPF, APA, APC, SLP, etc and at nearly every weight class from 132 to SHW. At NGBB, there is not one particular training philosophy or one particular training template that everyone follows. Instead, each lifter experiments with their own routines creatively and oftentimes shares new ideas with everone else. I believe this creates an environment that is always growing and reaching to new heights in the strength training world. On this website, we will continue to showcase these lifters with updated online videos and training logs posted daily. Enjoy!!
